Radio Chiguiro presents the 2nd episode of 1PLACE4BEATS, a series of EPs dedicated to global electronic music. Each chapter will explore a region of the world through the style of four producers. Welcome to EGYPT for 15 epic minutes !

Last February, Radio Chiguiro offered its aid to the victims of the earthquake in Turkey and Syria, with the charity compilation ACIL, bringing together 49 tracks from 28 different countries. Eager to introduce global electronic music – especially from Africa and Latin America – the label is launching 1PLACE4BEATS, a new series of EPs which will highlight a country or a territory in each episode.
After a warm glimpse of Brazil's own creative frenzy, Radio Chiguiro turns to Egypt, a boiling country when it comes to rap and electronic music. On this EP, Abdo Keita, Besh, Logical Da9ud, Yunis and Essperx share their interpretation of an underground scene in motion, inspired by popular shaabi music and mahraganat, while looking to the future.

For the artwork, each beatmaker sent some photos of their environment to Parallelemental, whorealized a fine collage, between nature and urban atmosphere.
